The Song vessels are inspired by Nanjizal Cove and the Song of the Sea cave that lies there. Employing sinous scored and folded lines to evoke this unique place.

It is an attempt to foster an implicit sense of place through use of the vessel form, employing a single, economical line and without recourse to literal or narrative elements. In this time of unprecedentedly rapid change, constant content and increasingly virtual experience, these objects are palpably material, intensely still and purposefully empty.
